Well, the results are not out yet... and it's like~ around 8am SG time..... Hmmm~ the system lag or what?
Just went out to do grocery shopping again, yes, grocery shopping.... NZD$0.29 per kg of apples was the exclamation of the day.... haha~ the guardian was so amazed that she bought 30 apples at one go. Heh.... really grocery shopping this few days. Think we'll be going to St. Luke's this Sunday.... Then maybe we can do some shopping?
Oh ya, my boots fell apart while we were out just now... first I found it strange, why does my boots sound so funny while walking... the next thing I knew, the heel part of one of the boots fell off, then as I walked on, the other fell out too... HAHA~ Am I suppposed to be unlucky today. Please, DON'T LET IT BE THE RESULTS TOO! Hmmm~ waiting for the results now...

Summer in Autumn, but winter in my heart
Thursday, May 19, 2005
Today's another sunny day, with a temperature of 22 degrees Celcius in the day and about 18 degree Celcius in the night. I went to do some more grocery shopping again and I'll be doing some shopping again tomorrow..... TOMORROW's judgement day!!!!!!!! =.= Haiz, release of results tommorrow... the cause of winter in my heart even though it's autumn with a slightly summer-like weather.
Currry fragance filled the air of Auntie Yang who lives down the street from where I stay. Wow, curry chicken amd beefballs.... yummy! Plus, a glass of lemon-orange tea after the meal.... these at least kept me from thinking of the results I would have. I think I must work hard next semester and get 'A's and 'B's .. no 'C's... Better still, all ' A's!!!!!! Damned tired of falling back of others...Grrrrr... maybe I should be aggressive like the 'All Blacks' Rugby team of New Zealand. Hah~ no more Zzzzzzzz monster and no more lazy worm is going to get me!!!!!
Well, I would have the room all to myself anyway, can stay up late and study^^.
Friends, motivate me also^^.
Pray that I'm posting a happy blog tml. ^^ I can do.... I can fix things^^.

Finally, a sunny day!
Hi all, do ya miss me? I miss everyone in Sg. Will be back after 2 & 1/2 weeks time. Heh~ Today is Sunny day. I woke up later at 9 plus in the morning then went to the mall and supermarket with my sister's guardian to do some shopping then headed back to the place I'm staying at to enjoy lunch. Do you know that the things here are really expensive? Well, all except for some of the local produce. 1kg of Golden Kiwi Fruit costs NZD$0.79 while the usual Yan Yan Biscuit sticks with chocolate Cream costs NZD$1.60. Woah~ luckily I'm not staying here for long. Hehe~ Also, the exercise book I bought for my sis costs about NZD$1.20 and it's not very big lor. WTH~>.<
But~ it's interesting to know that I have a JJC senior who is just staying across the road from where I'm staying. Have I mentioned this before? There's this Malay lady staying across the street. She's in the 1986/7 batch of JJC and she's a Student Councilor too(CCA com!!!). Quite a nice and friendly lady as all Singaporeans should. Hee~ she's married to an Arab-African and has a 1 & 1/2 yr old son who is so cute!!! Her son likes to play in their garden and his favourite past time is chewing the dried leaves on the ground. I just saw him do that. So cute..... His eyes like wanna drop out... so big, the eyes.
My sister's guardian is also a Singaporean and she's my dad's friend. SO there's no problem for her to study here with the church and the house-mates she has. There's a 15yr old gal and a 23yr old guy staying in the same house and they are going to church so there's no problem.
I'll be back in the house making dumplings with them later.
About the bed and breakfast thing the guardian is having, I think I'll send in the details once I have them, through email. If you're going to the North Island or Auckland of New Zealand, you may want to stay there. It's furnishings are superb! I think she will be also arranging tours for the guests staying there.
If you do come to NZ, please be alert as to where you do the shopping, some shops sell souvenirs but they has this made in China imprint on them. Please be careful~ I think I was fleeced!

Rainy days in Auckland
Wednesday, May 18, 2005
Hmmm~ it's been a rainy day~ and the winds are so cold~~~ it's like being back in the old Lecture Hall 5 in JJC: Freezing cold. I think this week would be a quiet week after the fun-filled one last week. Ha~
Well, I think I'm going to Hamilton next Monday. I hope it's near waikato so that I can go visit HObbit Land there~ hehe~ LOTR!!!!!!! If it's near, maybe I can plead with them and ask them to take me there and look at the scenery. Maybe I'll take a few pebbles back... Better still, I can take some sand. I've prepared a few bottles to contain sand from NZ... heh.
Oh ya, I bought this DINGA dog in NZ and I think I've been cheated of my money. It costs like $36 NZ dollars and I think it costs less in Sg. Sigh* The shop keeper( who is from mainland China, talked so much with me and I felt so obliged to buy something from her.... where did all the pyschology stuff go to?) gave me free Sanrio Hello Kitty Stickers and told me to just stuff it into the envelope I was carrying coz she dun wan her Boss to noe. Hmmm~ thats feels like stealing... OMG~ And I think I feel a tinge of guilt inside. But anywayz~ I'm innocent. Haha~ well, sort of. Haiz~ too gullible little old me. To a Sg gal, it was juz freebies and we are all suckers for that. Oopz~~~
It's tiring just thinking about the flight back to Sg. I need to make so many transits.... Brisbane~ Brunei then Sg. Well, I dun mind as long as there's movies and music to entertain me. 2 more weeks to go and I'll be back in Sg! Cya pplez!

CHurch!!!!!!!!!!! Gulp*
Tuesday, May 17, 2005
Lol, after being missing in action from church for so long, God has caught me again~ The church life here is strict as compared to Singapore. Now, under the constant reminders, I may have to embark on this road once again. I'm abit reluctant to go to church~ maybe I'm lazy. Now, I may have to go to church training in Hamilton, New Zealand for a full week ,starting from next weekand, and the itinery includes preaching the gospel. * Gulp* x2....
Hmmm~ think I may not be able to run away from such meetings.
I forgot the bible chapters but luckily I can remember to sing the hymms so going to sunday church is not too weird.
Oh ya, exam results would be out soon~ I'm a bit depressed. Hope I can do well~~~ I dun wanna " take away" meaning taking the same module all over again, in NTU context.
Friends in NTU and NUS, let us cross our fingers before checking the results.
Brrrr~ it's cold here~~~ And I'm running out of clothes to wear.
NZ time 4.25pm, Sg time 12.45pm.
A week in New Zealand
Halo people!!!!
Recently been to the city. There were many shops but the prices are quite steep. Taking asian cusine in the city here is twice the price of taking it in Singapore, I think. I bought quite alot of souvenirs and they don't come cheap. Sigh* The city 's traffic lights are quite different from that in singapore. You can cross diagonally at a road juction! Also, the warning for stop walking is a flickering red man instead of a flickering green man. And when people cross the road, they cross all at once, this means that crossing left or right or diagonal routes at a road junction at the same time instead of waiting for one part of the road traffic to be stopped, all the traffic stops at the road junction.
I bought a LOTR scrapbook with Legolas on the front cover and some postcards too. Do you know that the library here can allow up to 35 books for loan at the library per loan? Wow right? There's a trolley in the community library to make it easier for the kids to borrow the books.
The beaches here are beautiful but it was raining when I was there, so the shots I took wasn't that nice. The sea was clear and the surroundings quite clean as compared to Singapore's East Coast Park.
There's this dessert which is made from egg white and sugar only, it actually tastes heavenly like marshmallow: a cake without the actual cake. To top it up with chunks of ice cream(which tastes like paddle pop) is like :OMG!
Are you drooling?

I'm in New Zealand!!!!!!!!!
Friday, May 13, 2005
Hi everyone, I'm in Auckland, New Zealand now. The air is fresh, the weather is cold and it's autumn now... so it's brrrr...cold in the night... I'm getting sinus every morning. The day ends early, sunset is at around 5plus New Zealand time and sunrise is at around the same time as Singapore I think. Lol, I went to Mt Eden and One tree hill yesterday, both of which are dead volcanoes in Auckland. The Scenery is magnificent! I think I will email you all the photos when I get back to sg. Hehe~ I saw some sheeps gazing at the hill and it was so darn cold that I was so wrapped up in scarf and jackets. When I saw some of the people there wearing sleeveless shirt and shorts, I was so shocked. They are used to the cold unlike those from the tropics. Hmmm~ very cold indeed.... The temperature can dip to around 8 degrees Celcius at night and I have to wear so many layers of clothes and have to be tucked in bed under a few layers of blankets. Brrrr........ Ah Chooo!!!*
The food here is so fresh, the milk has the cow's 'scent' and the apples here are so huge. Eating one can make me so bloated... that's too exaggerating.... haha~ well one apple can be a light snack. I'm staying with my sister at a house in the suburbs and the lady of the house is a really nice lady. She's the guardian of my sister who is studying here for the next 8 mths. Nice lady, she cooks for us, brings us around and helps us clean our clothes( not underwear). Oh ya, she's having an accomodation lodge here beside her house. Going out now... write later...ya~ going supermarket^^

Kingdom of Heaven
Sunday, May 08, 2005
Watched Kingdom of Heaven starring Orlando Bloom yesterday. It was like a war epic but lacking the correct pace for such a movie. The scenes are fast paced and everything was occuring very fast, so fast that you must take note of each scene to make sense of the next. Well, sort of. Overall, it's not a bad movie. Orlando Bloom starrs as a conscience seeking knight who protects the city's people regardless of their religion and skin colour. This is something we should learn from his character. He gave up the right to be appointed as the new King by the late King and he harboured no intentions for wealth but peace and prosperity for the people. The movie sort of preaches peace for all instead of rushing to war like egoistic brainless men who are religious fanatics. Yep, it's a nice movie, but if you hunger for scenes like that in LOTR, this is far from it.
Peace be with you.
Flying to New Zealand tomorrow, wish me luck.
I'm going to New Zealand!!!!!

Woohoo~ FINALLY! I can take an aeroplane ride^^ So excited to see the views and people and shopping malls. Most importantly~ the food!!!!!

Now, I have to plan what things to bring, should I bring my pig, boing boing? Lol, will miss my pig beanie and my stuffed animals and my desktop, haha~ will miss everyone too^^. Oh~ I was supposed to accompany my sister to NZ coz she was studying right? Guess wat, I'm on a different flight and airline from her, although we should be arriving 1 hr ahead or after each other. NOw now~ money money where are you? I wanna find money. SObz, Sobz....
