Dessert!

Feel so proud of myself again... hah.. This time it's the dessert soup: Barley with beancurdskin and ginkonuts.
1st time that I've tried this and I think it's not bad.
Mistake no. 1: I put in too much water and when it boiled, the pot couldn't hold it. =_="
Mistake no. 2: Not simmering it long enough though it tastes nice.
I've added brown sugar instead of rock sugar.

Christmas is nearing
Hi friends and strangers!
Christmas is nearing.. Have you gotten any of the presents that you are were supposed to get?
Well... As for me, this year's Christmas is really weird. I don't know why I didn't get any presents for my family yet but anyway, no one in my family celebrates Christmas because our faith does not recognize Christmas as the day of the birth of Christ. Anyway, still.. doesn't it feel good to give someone a present or even a card? :D Received 2 Christmas cards... Hah.. On the same day. Thanks Sai Pong and Xueling. Hehe...
Xueling is celebrating X'mas in Krabi, Thailand! So envious! Hahs, must pester her and get her photos. This reminds me of my Redang Trip this May. Sigh~
Oh well.... I can always plan for the next trip in a few years. My hubby wants to climb mountains.. and Mount Everest is in the list. I wonder how I am going to prepare myself for this. Exercise!!!!

I'm really proud of myself today because I finally got my lazy butt off the swivel chair to jog (mild jogging) with my sister and I cooked soup and it really tasted alright... Good for a beginner, I feel..
Here's what I've put into the soup:
Materials and Methods... Bwahahaha...
1)Carrots (1/sliced)
2) Small Potatoes (3/cubed)
3) Scallops (12) :P
4) Tofu ( 1 pack/ cubed)
I forgot how much water I've added. Hmm...
But, here's the rest of it.. Ahem.
Throw scallops into the pot of water.... Leave to boil so as to bring out the seafood flavour.
Throw in the potatoes and carrots.... Simmer...
Add the tofu in... simmer...
Add salt and sugar to taste... :D
Simple right? Lol... Next time I should add ikan bilis instead of salt. And maybe I should add tomatoes in but it would make the soup sour.. Hmm...
Anyone interested in baking? Christmas is coming and baking would be fun!

:D Lookie here... my bonus is in... so happy. But I can't spend it.. so horrible right? Oh well.. I've watched the "Golden Compass" and I think it's better than "The Seeker", but not as nice as Harry Potter. My clothings from the online spree have arrived and the scarf is actually not the same colour as that in the photo... O.O The top that I ordered came in another colour: red instead of green..
Oh well... Now waiting for my hello kitty and mahjong hp strap.

Er... To Mitchell and Sarah.. Sorry. My sis lost my camera and with it, the photos of the celebration at Essential Brews. Sigh. >.<
Oh well... hopefully we can recover the camera and the memory card. It seems kinda weird if some weirdo uses our photo for something.

The pet carnival is at admiralty and it starts at 4pm. I guess if I wanna go, I still can make it?
Haha... Being wanting to get a pet, but still cannot make up my mind as to which type I want to get. It's either a cat ( I nearly typed cake, this means that I'm yearning for a cake) or a dog (luckily, I didn't type log-cake.. hahas... -_-).
Ok, folks out there.. if you have landed property or even a house with plenty of room, please approach the spca to adopt a PET. Thanks. Consider wisely before you get one though.

I watched some drama series an I think 'Galileo', a Japanese drama series, is worth watching. Why? The main leads are so good-looking and the show is all about mystery-solving, using a subject that I hate.... PHYSICS!

My left nostril is blocked and I swear that it was my right nostril just now. Sigh... The recent cold weather has led to poor little old me catching a cold. Yes, literally. I fell when the strong gust of freezing wind attacked me. Yet, I was nonchalant. This behaviour has led me to my demise. Too exaggerated? Drama me again. Hoho...
