Jazz's Emoness

Jazz got emo today because we didn't take him to the Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival at Chinese Garden. When we got back and watched TV, he was lazing on the cushion and staring out of the window as usual again. He loves the moving vehicles along the road and he's been observing the road signs.
Sunny weather today.

Alright, this is my one week break and I have decided to relax. I brought Jazz around and he made a new friend who likes him so much, it can't take its paws off him. The male duo were playing together and hugged each other in delight. I have never seen Jazz so excited over a dog before. Maybe it's because the other one is less than a year old. Oh well. The little one licked Jazz with its puny tongue. Quite cute.
Back to the weather... it's so freaky good today... but I forgot to wash the laundry. Shucks. The last two days have been bad weather. I hope it doesn't rain during the weekend.
My little terrorising mini schnauzer
My dear Jazz has done it again.
It chewed on my ear ph ones yesterday. And... that set of ear phones was a present from my best friend. -_-" So I punished him with a one-hour long muzzle sentence.
Now he's asleep on my psyduck. Speaking of which, this little terror also chewed off psyducks only remaining strain of hair. Now my psyduck is botak. O_o
The terror also chewed on our phone wires and my house phone is down. Aiyo~~~
My husband was reprimanding the dog for ruining the carpet and the shoe cabinet too.
But... we still LOVE him despite his actions. Oh well...
Death sentence to smokers.
Wednesday, September 03, 2008
I do believe that smokers know that they're going to die a horrible death someday after all the tar deposits and other complications due to smoking. I don't wish to curse them because I know what awaits them if they don't quit sooner or later.
One thing that I find common among many smokers:
They are bloody inconsiderate.
Why do I say so? I understand it's their freedom to smoke but hey, these people don't own the air around them okay? Others need to breathe too? And... I don't think the best thing after oxygen is second-hand smoke which is laden with carbon monoxide and other irritants.
I was quite uncomfortable due to the bad weather yesterday and I can't bear with the smoke. It made me feel worse. Don't you feel irritated when some people decide to smoke in enclosed areas because it's raining? What about other people? Sure, they can feel the adrenalin rush and warmth which makes them high especially during a cold night. What about others?
It's bad enough that our air ain't fresh. Are you trying to deprive us of low-grade oxygen too?Inconsiderate individuals can actually smoke in the lift and leave the lift foul with cigarette smoke. Don't they know that lifts are not well-ventilated?
At the end of the day, I can't say I hate smokers because I do have friends who smoke. I just wish that they will stop smoking and buy some nicotine patches to start with. Or... find other activities that will help with that adrenaline rush.
