Halo people!!!!
Recently been to the city. There were many shops but the prices are quite steep. Taking asian cusine in the city here is twice the price of taking it in Singapore, I think. I bought quite alot of souvenirs and they don't come cheap. Sigh* The city 's traffic lights are quite different from that in singapore. You can cross diagonally at a road juction! Also, the warning for stop walking is a flickering red man instead of a flickering green man. And when people cross the road, they cross all at once, this means that crossing left or right or diagonal routes at a road junction at the same time instead of waiting for one part of the road traffic to be stopped, all the traffic stops at the road junction.
I bought a LOTR scrapbook with Legolas on the front cover and some postcards too. Do you know that the library here can allow up to 35 books for loan at the library per loan? Wow right? There's a trolley in the community library to make it easier for the kids to borrow the books.
The beaches here are beautiful but it was raining when I was there, so the shots I took wasn't that nice. The sea was clear and the surroundings quite clean as compared to Singapore's East Coast Park.
There's this dessert which is made from egg white and sugar only, it actually tastes heavenly like marshmallow: a cake without the actual cake. To top it up with chunks of ice cream(which tastes like paddle pop) is like :OMG!
Are you drooling?
