Happy birthday Xueling!!!!

Outside the restaurant...
3rd Feb is xueling's birthday. Her bf planned everything out for the
surprise dinner last night. A few of her uni friends: peiling, mary and kim; me, kailing and Jiapei went for the dinner and gave her a surprise!
Well, the place is very romantic and the ambience is so nice....
At first we were sitting outside, the lights were so dim, i can't read the menu! Later we moved into the interior where it was so much brighter and nicer, coz of the live singer.... cool!
There was such a big candle holder on our table, I think it's the big type of candle holder the Jews use for Hannuka. The food there was alright, but do order the
chicken chop. It's really nice. The
apple pie with the ice cream is also good. The prawns and scallops skewers , the baked fish really tasted yummy! Not that I ate alot... Just had a bit of pieces of each food on the platter from everyone... We were all sharing some of the food...
Eating in such a romantic place is such an experience.... hehe, I ordered corona instead of red wine....
After dinner, it was the cake's entrance! Suddenly, the singer sang a nice version of happy birthday.... Ling was caught with surprise on her face when she heard the song and saw the tiramisu cake ( bailey's added inside). Wow... the liqour really was overpowering inside the cake. Phew! Hehe~ The cake was really soft, but a little weird. Hmmm~
At the end of the day, the tab was paid for by her beau. =)
He made something for her, which I'm not sure what it was, he wasn't around in singapore. The gift was passed on to her. We went back late at night coz the dinner started at 830pm... and I waited for 198 with Kailing and rocked my way back home...Zzzzzz
