Hmmm~ I checked out the blog that Grace recommended and saw quite alot reports on the political parties... Wow~ This is the first time that I've realized we do have alot of political parties in Singapore. Haha.... That's quite erm, disheartening right?
I only know PAP, Worker's Party and SDP only. Lol~
Then I clicked on the links on the peition against death penalty in singapore. Wow~ pleading for the guy responsible for Huang Na's murder.. Hmmm~ I wonder why the death penalty was set in the first place. To deter people from murdering? Now, look at the number of murders taking place these few years. Maybe they should change it to something like life imprisonment (but I think that's a waste of resources, support them until they die?), or something else? Hmmm..... Any ideas? Hmmm~ maybe murderers should serve term in prison and work their whole lives in there? This way, they can "support their family" as well as have the time to regret the act that they have done.
But even if we do not have the death penalty, does the murderer have the conscience to live on? Suicide due to guilt?
NO murder = no conviction .... Really, why do people want to kill people? Especially children? Well, there's good reasons ( depends on who sees it) and also stupid reasons. God made us this way? Or is it because of that darn apple?
That led me suddenly to think of the penalty for rapists cum murderers... why not castrate the guys and let them serve term? Hehe~ Whatever...
Really detest the kind of abuse men give to women, whether it is rape or not.
Like someone said: "Be a Man, Do the right thing"
The thing is what is the right thing?
