Ratatouille

Family movie. Warm-hearted and yummy movie that leaves you wanting more. Remy the rat wants to be a chef. He was inspired by Gusto, a French chef who lives by the motto :"Anyone can cook", and was guided by his inner voice into Gusto's restaurant. However, he was appalled when he discovered that Gusto's had become a commercialized brand with gread disregard about the essence of fine food after the great chef's death. Linguini, a young man with nothing but a tiny apartment, applies for a job at Gusto's and almost ruined the restaurant's reputation. What would happen to Linguini and how would our little rat chef handle a kitchen with so many humans and traps around?
Evan Almighty

Seriously speaking, God would be laughing his pants off. That is, if he evers wears a pair of pants. *Blank face* Obviously a sequel to Bruce Almighty, Evan Almighty is a funny movie but I feel that something is lacking. Well, it's cool to be able to laugh at New York's Noah because of all the silly actions and events that happen to him. It's not a great movie, so I guess I would rather watch it on a weekday. =) There was debate on whether the world would experience a great flood (worldwide) again especially when the Bible says that God won't send such floods anymore. Well, in this movie, the flood ain't worldwide. It can barely flood a state. Oops.. spoiler!
1408
This is the creepy part. This thriller absolutely rocks. Why? It leaves a chill in my bones even after the movie! John Cusack rocls! Woohoo! The show has a twist towards the end of the movie but I was rather disappointed at its ending. Good movie if you want to have a high stimulus. I nearly jumped out of the seats because of the sound effects. Almost covered my whole face when I was watching the movie, although I admit that I was chewing on popcorn like a hungry ghost... Touch wood....Never enter room 1408. It's evil. That reminds me, I won't want to get a unit number #14-08. Scary! 1+4+8= 13
P/S: You would be wondering whether John Cusack is cranky or the room is evil when you watch the movie. Watch with a friend, or with your significant other. No one lasts an hour. Would you?
