Reflection day...

Today I rumaged through my cabinets and guess what I've found? All my prized possessions of soft toys, car models and anime character figurines!
I was actually drawing out sketches of what my rooms would look like once we've moved in. It's like designing your home but no colour has been added, sadly. When we were discussing about the house, it seems like the opinions we hold are quite different. Well, at least we compromised and I'm actually in charge of the kitchen. However, I'm still drawing out sketches of what other rooms would look like. Once I'm done with the colouring, I'd scan the sketches if I remember. :P
There are actually problems and uncertainties. One, we have not yet chosen the unit that we wanted and the unit may actually vary from the showflat that we have been to in August. Two, space constraints due to the fact that the newer HDB flats are getting smaller. Three, design of the house. Somehow, when I was at the showflat, I felt that the windows are akwardly positioned and the air flow did not seem to be smooth. The windows are small, in my opinion, and the worst thing is that the master bedroom actually has another window which faces the kitchen's window and the laundry drying area, meaning that when we could, there is a possibility of smoke getting into my bedroom (Ewww!) and the ugly sight of all the flags that we hang on the bamboo poles.

Okay, despite all these, I still carried on drawing the designs using my creative juices, the Ikea catalogue and the home decor magazine. I admit there's some cheating but without references, how can I get the layout and themes set?
After drawing the sketch for one room, I suddenly remembered that I may want to have a pup in the house. Another problem sets in... what if my cute puppy poos on my rug. Sheesh! The horror! I guess I must discuss with Mr Cher again, but he will most probably ask me to train the dog.
